Nonprofit Track—What to expect

For the first time in Boulder Startup Week history, 2019 will include a track for everyone with an interest in learning, experiencing and networking with professionals who have an expertise in the world of non-profit organizations. Nonprofits have a very large percentage of the workforce and very significant contribution to GDP. Whether you are interested in starting a non-profit, working in a non-profit, reinventing your current non-profit or meeting people from the sector, the BSW2019 non-profit track will have something for you!

Starting a nonprofit

Surface the real issues, successes, failures and lessons learned from launching non-profits. Strategic planning, alternatives to traditional fundraising, board development and more!

Innovation in nonprofits
Non-Profits are created and re-invented every day. People on this panel share stories and insights on re-branding, re-positioning, re-inventing the model from the cause up.

Corporate social responsibility
Corporate Social Responsibility is evolving both as a concept and as a practical measure for company success. This track will explore the components of CSR and utilizing practicable steps,  help you develop your CSR strategy, no matter the size of your business.

Sustainable fundraising
Experts from Notley Ventures help nonprofits go beyond the grant by developing more sustainable ways to bring in income. Through effective pitching and developing lean models for fundraising, organizations are able to open up new revenue streams and attract new sources of funding.
