Marketing Track—What to expect

Marketing is all about developing relationships with customers. For startups, marketing is key to getting people interested in products and services. This year, the marketing track will share the latest in marketing strategy, digital marketing, analytics, paid media, and more. Whether you’re the next big SaaS company or a new chain of vegan ice cream shops, you’ll gain the knowledge to take your company to the next level and grow your business.

These are the topics we will explore with some of the region’s leading marketing professionals;

  • Growth Marketing
  • Startup Digital Analytics
  • Social Selling
  • Branding
  • Instagram Insights
  • Content Marketing
  • Startup Marketing Team Scaling
  • Creative Concepting
  • Office Hours

When we set out to create a marketing track for this year’s BSW, we started by asking the Boulder startup marketing community about the most important themes for this year’s sessions. Our track was then designed to best fit the community’s need, guided by those responses.

As the co-captains for the marketing track, we have different but complementary marketing backgrounds, experiences, and areas of expertise, which we have used to create a well-rounded offering of topics;

Ben Travis has a background in digital strategy and analytics, from both and agency and product point of view, and he is currently the Marketing Lead at Bonusly.  Summer DuBois’ experience includes working for startups like, The Conscious Cleanse, and Daybreaker. She is currently the program director for School, a purpose-led marketing agency based here in Boulder.

We hope you’ll join us for a week of valuable discussions, new friendships, key learnings, and definitely some fun: Join us at the end of the week at the Marketing Happy Hour at Basecamp on Thursday, May 16th, 4:00-5:30pm.
