We’re so happy to welcome UpRamp (UpRamp.com) into the Boulder Startup Week family as a sponsor this year!
UpRamp, sponsored by CableLabs, is a new kind of accelerator which was just unveiled earlier in 2016. It focuses specifically on startups with innovations that improve people’s experience with cable. UpRamp is designed to skillfully connect startups and cable operators to amplify startup success by guiding them to the world’s largest and most powerful broadband network. Unlike the traditional accelerator model, UpRamp helps startups gain the ability to scale their business for the massive cable and broadband industry. In a way, UpRamp is closer to an executive MBA for startups; something they like to call a “Fiterator”. Graduates of this 3 month, non-resident program leave with actual deals and reference customers, because scaling a business is about doing deals, not demo days.
UpRamp is led by experienced entrepreneur, Scott Brown. Scott has successfully started and exited his own ventures multiple times, and is passionate about sharing his experiences with the startups in the UpRamp ecosystem. About UpRamp’s involvement with Boulder Startup Week, Scott says, “UpRamp is a natural partner of BSW. We are here to support the startup community and provide entrepreneurs with invaluable connections and mentorship. We are incredibly excited to be part of this year’s startup week, and can’t wait to meet with all the innovative entrepreneurs around town.”
UpRamp and CableLabs representatives can be found at various Boulder Startup Week 2016 events. Track down the UpRamp team during BSW by following them on Twitter @UpRamp.
Thank you UpRamp for being a sponsor of Boulder Startup Week 2016!
