Aerospace Track – What to expect for BSW 2018

Who (is putting these events on)

Joe Hackel has been an aerospace engineer for the last 17 years. He has worked on countless spacecraft projects for NASA and the Department of Defense. One of the technologies he developed is currently being used to search for asteroids that could threaten the earth. As a craft beer fan, he actively seeks ways to enhance the enjoyment of craft beer through a combination of passions: engineering and inventing. He has his own startup. Hackel, the inventor of Pop&Stop, developed this product out of personal exasperation at not finding this same product available for purchase in any store.

What

You can expect events that will give you best practices, insight on trends, and help to build successful strategies in the areas of:

  • How to launch your own space startup
  • Big Data in a Satellite’s world
  • Can a startup reach Mars?
  • Jumping from software engineer to aerospace engineer
  • Diversity in Aerospace

Who (should attend)

Space! Aerospace! This is a growing and exciting field. There is a lot of “gee-whiz” excitement here, knowing that your product literally can change how we perceive the universe. Joe will bring in the innovating thinking of the startup field and shoot for the stratosphere. These tracks will let you know—you don’t have to be Elon Musk to get  into Space.

Space is closer than you think.
