Robotics Track—What to Expect for BSW 2018

We’re very excited to be bringing the Robotics Track back for its second year. The track is led by Jack Morrison, co-founder of Scythe Robotics, in collaboration with the Boulder is for Robots (Bi4R) and Boulder & Denver Women in Robotics community groups. We’re very excited to help showcase and connect Boulder’s growing robotics community and ever expanding set of startups!

We want to connect roboticists and enthusiasts directly in Boulder, so this year’s track will be even more interactive. We’ll have a Bi4R & Women in Robotics Happy Hour to socialize and a new Founder Speed Q&A where you can ask Boulder founders all the questions you’ve never had time to before.

Thank you to BES for sponsoring the robotics track.

Startup week is all about community, and the Robotics Track is no exception! We’ll have some awesome community involvement, from a talk on How to Build 1000 Robots without building 1000 Robots by local CANVAS Technology engineers, to Building Smart Robots where we’ll hear from Sphero and Cognex engineers on some key principles to building smart machines. Jenney Loper, a local hardware and manufacturing consultant and COO, will give an interview focused on Hardware Manufacturing for Software People. BSW Platinum sponsor Boulder Engineering Studio will host a set of talks about Mechanical and Electrical Engineering for Robotic Products. We’ll also have a special edition Boulder is for Robots discussing the State of Colorado Robotics.
