Gen Z Boulder Startup Week (Canceled for 2020)

Because of COVID we have canceled the Gen Z pitch in its current form.

Boulder Startup Week is celebrating its 11th annual event on May 11-15. The week-long event has over 10,000 attendees with over 200 individually crafted events hosted and curated by industry experts.

This year, Boulder Startup Week is excited to announce two opportunities for Gen Z, the Pitch Challenge and Ideas to Reality. If you are interested in staying up-to-date on these exciting opportunities, please sign up to receive our emails.

Pitch Challenge

Boulder Startup Week Gen Z pitch challenge is open to 8th – 12th graders. Applications can be submitted from March 1 – March 27, 2020.

Individuals/Teams who move on to the semi-finals (April 14, 2020) will present their business/ideas to some of the best entrepreneurs in Boulder. Semi-finalists will also have one-on-one feedback sessions after the competition. The winner of the Semi-finalist pitch will advance to the Boulder Beta competition which will be held during BSW on May 11th. (More details to come)

Save the Date!

Wednesday, May 13, 2020: 8:30am – 1:00pm

Spend the day with a local entrepreneur while hearing about innovation and starting/running a startup. The day begins at base camp with a keynote speaker. After which you, the Gen Z community, will form small cohorts of students with local entrepreneurs who will be your guide for the day. You will participate in two of Boulder Startup Week’s sessions learning about what is happening in the Boulder Startup Community. Guides and students will spend time after each session and at lunch discussing key takeaways.
