The Change the Ratio Track for Boulder Startup Week 2018, led by Arieann DeFazio, promises to bring the party and show us that there is no one mold for what a startup, or its founders, look, act, or feel like.
Arieann, CEO/Founder of Kitables, got her start with BSW as the Executive Director of Spark Boulder, an organization committed to building partnerships and engagement between student entrepreneurs and the Boulder startup community. Her dedication to this engagement continues as she strives to break open stereotypes on what it means to be successful in the startup world.
This track sets out to showcase the breadth of the types of startups and founders out there and to ignite a flame under anyone hesitating to dive into the world of startups because of a fear that they aren’t right for it—or that it isn’t right for them.
From the entertaining (think arcade and a sex toy van), to the slightly more serious (an in-depth look at what it’s like to go from bootstrapping to running a 20M company and an AMA on how to effectively plan for your exits and M&As) the Change the Ratio Track promises to be fun, engaging, and inspirational.
