How to Rock Boulder Startup Week 2011

Boulder Startup Week returns this year for its second year of shenanigans!  We set out initially to build a week that is welcoming and low-key for both people to visit Boulder and locals to meet up – hikes, rides, coffees, hacks, founder dating, big events, small events, tours and drinkups.  We thought our first outing was immensely successful, so we’re putting the merry band together again.

Here are some quick tips to rock it:

  1. Don’t go to everything.  Pick some things that you are really into and some that you are not and attend them.
  2. Feel free to host your own conversations with people you meet. There are plenty of places to have chats downtown.
  3. RSVP on plancast.  Some events will have limited space, and those that RSVP first on Plancast will get in.
  4. Follow the conversation.  The hashtag for the event is #bouldersw, check out the search page on twitter for people to meet.
  5. Ask questions. It’s a really friendly town, and we want you to enjoy yourself.
