We love planning Startup Week, but the #1 key to our success is help from lovely people like you! Where we need help:

Hosting Events

Passionate about something? Host an event during Startup Week. Just chat with us about what you want to do, and we’ll put it on the calendar.

Sponsorship

We’d love a few more sponsors who are able to contribute money. Our largest expense last year was flying 7 lucky people to Boulder from all over the country – let’s make that happen again. If you have event space, let’s chat too!

Couchsurfing

You have an empty, lonely couch. We have a lovely guest who would love to stay with a local.

Local discounts

If you’d like to offer a discount to BSW attendees, we’d love to get the word out.

Other help

Sometimes we need a little administrative help here and there. No cold calling or similarly horrible tasks.

Boulder Startup Week 2012: May 16th-20th

It’s time once again for our annual 5 day event showcasing the unique startup community in Boulder. There will be dozens of events: from Ignite, to parties, to technical meetups, to hikes, and more.

Startup Week is a celebration of everything that we love about Boulder, and is open to locals and visitors alike. The events are free, and organized by passionate members of the community. Come check out those that sound most interesting to you.

Most of the smaller events have not been finalized yet, but we do have the big ones in place:

Wednesday 7pm – Ignite Boulder

The largest Ignite in the world rolls on…come watch 14 presenters give five minute talks with slides that auto advance every 15 seconds. It’s a wild and entertaining ride that you’ll share with the 800+ others with you at the Boulder Theater. Ignite is the only ticketed event of the week, and it is 100% guaranteed to sell out. Stay tuned for more details.

Thursday evening – BSW Opening Party hosted by Trada

Mix. Mingle. Ride big wheels. See you there!

Friday evening – Boulder Beta

Have some drinks, get chatty, and meet the local startups who will be demoing their latest and greatest.

Saturday – BSW Closing Party hosted by QuickLeft

If we could describe this party in three words, they would be: Nerd Field Day. From what we’ve heard, this is not to be missed.
